~Sunday is the first Sunday of the month so it’s time to bring the pennies for “Centsible Meals.” This is the project sponsored by PW for each of us to bring one penny per each meal during the month. A glass bowl is in the front for the donations which will go to Associated Charities and their food ministry.

~Sunday is June 4, Pentecost Sunday, the date Elders coming on to the Session will be ordained and installed. In the Class of 2020 are Pat Hullet and Marion Tucker. The Nominating Committee for 2017-2018 begins its term: Elder: Fredda Ganer (chair), At-large: Billie DeBoard, Charla Gooden, and Leroy Quance.

~The capital improvements drive continues. We encourage everyone to join us in this endeavor. Please pray with us and donate as you are able to help us keep our buildings in working order. Thank you for any donation you can make now and in the coming weeks.

~Continue to bring the UPC symbol (proof of purchase) portion of labels from BEST CHOICE foods. Put them in the box in the church kitchen. We will earn $30.00 for each 1,000 UPC symbols mailed in to the program. The proceeds will go into the General Fund for the present. Thank you for your support.

~More items to save: (1.) egg cartons. Associated Charities uses clean egg cartons to package eggs for the food bank. You may bring your empty egg cartons to the church office or take them directly to Associated Charities. (2.) Box tops for education. Put them in the collection boxes in the kitchen.
